The taming power of the great: perseverance furthers. Not eating at home brings luck; it furthers one to cross the great water. Build up strength, then act.

初九：有厲，利已。 Danger is at hand; it furthers one to stop.
九二：輿說輹。 The axle is removed from the wagon. A forced halt; rest and regroup.
九三：良馬逐，利艱貞，曰閑輿衛，利有攸往。 A good horse that follows others; awareness of danger and perseverance further. Practise chariot-driving and defence daily; it furthers one to go somewhere.
六四：童牛之牿，元吉。 The headboard of a young bull: supreme good fortune. Prevent problems early.
六五：豶豕之牙，吉。 The tusk of a gelded boar: good fortune. Defuse conflict at its root.
上九：何天之衢，亨。 One attains the way of heaven: success.
