Meaning

Strength and initiative at their peak; press forward, but beware of rigidity.

Heaven over heaven: unceasing strength, the moment of greatest power and initiative.

乾：元亨，利貞。

Supreme success; it furthers one to persevere. All six lines are yang, the strong movement of heaven: be tireless and take initiative.

初九：潛龍勿用。
A hidden dragon: do not act. The time has not come; build strength quietly.
九二：見龍在田，利見大人。
The dragon appears in the field; it furthers one to see the great person. Your ability begins to show; seek those who can recognize it.
九三：君子終日乾乾，夕惕若，厲無咎。
The noble one works all day and stays watchful at night; danger, but no blame. Be diligent and careful.
九四：或躍在淵，無咎。
Perhaps leaping, perhaps staying in the deep: no blame. Test the waters; judge when to advance or hold back.
九五：飛龍在天，利見大人。
The flying dragon in the heavens; it furthers one to see the great person. You are at your peak; fulfil your ambitions.
上九：亢龍有悔。
The arrogant dragon will have regret. What rises too high must fall; know when to pull back.

用九：見群龍無首，吉。

A flight of dragons without a head: good fortune. Strength without domination; each in place brings great luck.

Career	Take the lead on big projects; leave room and avoid overbearing.
Money	Strong finances through honest effort; avoid speculation.
Love	Speaking first works, but give the other person room.
Health	Plenty of energy; avoid overwork.
Travel	Travel goes well, even far.
