The image: the Dragon Gate opens; change brings great fortune. The verdict: like a prisoner pardoned or the sick restored; you reach the Dragon Gate and your name spreads through the capital.
When Qin besieged Zhao, the King of Wei feared Qin and held back. Lord Xinling obtained the military tally by a ruse, took command and saved Zhao. When Zhao offered him five cities, he looked pleased with himself until a retainer reminded him: remember the kindness others show you, forget the kindness you show others. He grew humble and declined.
