The image: handling affairs calmly and kindly; steady and very lucky. The verdict: like a prisoner pardoned or the sick finding a good doctor; for wealth and plans, a helper will guide you.
At the end of the Sui, Li Yuan, Duke of Tang, was ambushed at Mount Lintong. Qin Qiong, napping in a nearby temple, woke to the shouting, charged alone into the fray, drove off the attackers and saved Li Yuan's family; he later became a founding general of the Tang.
