Source: Analects, "Li Ren"
Joy and worry in equal measure; move forward steadily.
"Joyful on one hand, anxious on the other": mixed feelings. There is happy progress and also cause for concern. Don't retreat out of worry or get carried away by joy; move steadily and face your concerns together.
| Single | You like someone; enjoy it but stay clear-eyed. |
|---|---|
| Dating | The relationship advances; face both your worries. |
| Married | Joy and pressure at home; share the load together. |
From the Analects: "You must know your parents' ages: on one hand with joy, on the other with anxiety", glad for their long life and anxious at their ageing.
