The image: blessing and virtue made visible; great fortune in all things. The verdict: these blessings belong to everyone; no need to hurry; blessing and virtue were set long ago.
Dou Yujun, called Yanshan, of the Five Dynasties lived badly in youth and was still childless in middle age. His late father appeared in a dream to admonish him; he reformed completely and devoted himself to good works. He later had five sons, all of whom passed the exams and rose high. The Three Character Classic praises him for raising five sons to fame.
