"Our husband was the one we looked up to for life, and now this!" The disappointment of trusting the wrong person. Look again at who they really are, beyond appearances; if disappointed, make plans for yourself.

From Mencius, "A man of Qi had a wife and a concubine": he claimed to dine with the rich every day; his wife followed him and found him begging leftovers at graves. She wept with the concubine: "Our husband was the one we looked up to for life, and now this!"
