Source: Song dynasty verse, now a proverb
The love you searched hard for will appear when you least expect it.
"Wear out iron shoes searching in vain; then it comes without effort." What you sought so long may suddenly appear right in front of you, and easily.
| Single | The right person may already be near; look at familiar faces. |
|---|---|
| Dating | A long-standing problem may suddenly resolve. |
| Married | Look again at your partner; the answer was always there. |
A Song dynasty verse (sometimes attributed to Xia Yuanding) that became a common saying: what you searched hard for comes easily by chance.
