Source: Cao Cao, "Short Song"
The one you admire is like the bright moon, visible yet hard to reach.
"Bright as the moon; when can it be plucked?" You admire someone shining and out of reach. Measure the distance; if there is a chance, draw closer; if not, be kind to your own heart.
| Single | If the one you admire is out of reach, look around you too. |
|---|---|
| Dating | Your partner is impressive; be sincere and don't feel inferior. |
| Married | Keep admiring each other. |
From Cao Cao's "Short Song": "Bright as the moon, when can it be plucked? Sorrow wells from within and cannot be cut off." A poem seeking talented men, comparing them to the moon, hard to obtain.
