An old love you cannot let go; deep feeling, but be gentle with yourself too.
"Only a trace of the old love remains; the silkworm spins until death." A love you cannot let go. Deep feeling is precious, but ask whether it is still returned; if not, gently let yourself go.

After Li Shangyin's "Untitled": "the spring silkworm spins until it dies; the candle weeps until it is ash." "Silk" (si) puns on "longing" (si), an image of yearning that ends only with death.
