Source: Song lyric (source uncertain)
The one you loved has gone; the bond has drifted away.
"As the phoenix leaves the Qin tower and the clouds withdraw from Mount Wu": the beloved has gone and the bond has faded. If a relationship has ended, accept it and let go gently; keep your heart for the future.
| Single | Let go of the past to make room for new love. |
|---|---|
| Dating | If it can't be saved, part well. |
| Married | If you are drifting apart, face it and talk honestly. |
Source uncertain; it reads like a Song lyric. "The phoenix leaves the Qin tower" alludes to Xiao Shi and Nongyu, who played the flute, summoned phoenixes and flew away; "clouds withdraw from Mount Wu" alludes to the goddess of morning cloud and evening rain. Both mean a lover gone and joy ended.
